BKG Construction Group was founded with a clear purpose — to raise the bar for construction services through precision, integrity, and innovation. After decades in the industry, our founders saw a recurring challenge: too many projects were hindered by fragmented communication, inconsistent processes, and missed opportunities to maximize efficiency and quality.
From our home base in Sammamish, Washington, we set out to change that. BKG was built to bridge the gap between vision and execution, combining hands-on leadership with proven systems to deliver projects that consistently exceed expectations. Jennifer Krause
CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Jennifer Krause is the driving force behind BKG Construction Group’s commitment to precision, innovation, and client success. With extensive experience in executive leadership, construction operations, and business strategy, she brings a rare blend of financial acumen and hands-on building expertise to every project.
Her path into executive leadership was shaped by years of working across every corner of a construction business. Jennifer has overseen Project Management, Operations, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Sales & Business Development, Accounting, Logistics & Procurement, Warehouse & Manufacturing, HR, and IT — ensuring each department worked in sync to support growth and client success. This 360-degree oversight gave her the ability to connect strategy with execution, balancing day-to-day detail with big-picture vision.
She went on to serve as CFO/COO for a prominent general contractor specializing in large-scale wood framing for multi-family developments. There, she scaled teams, strengthened financial controls, and launched a prefabrication manufacturing facility — streamlining production, enhancing quality control, and accelerating delivery across high-demand projects.
Since 2020, Jennifer has also operated as a licensed general contractor, leading residential remodels, new additions, and custom home builds throughout Washington State. Combined with her role as CEO of Stride Accounting Solutions — a firm specializing in financial clarity and operational efficiency — she brings a complete perspective to BKG: one that ties construction, finance, and operations into a cohesive system.
Known for her transparency, collaborative approach, and unwavering attention to detail, Jennifer believes in leading from the front — staying engaged in the details while empowering teams with the systems and support they need to excel. She is passionate about creating lasting partnerships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners, building not only exceptional projects but also trust and long-term value.
Beyond her professional work, Jennifer is a dedicated mom of two who enjoys family camping trips, cooking, and building meaningful connections in her community. Her vision for BKG is to deliver projects of lasting impact while shaping a company culture rooted in accountability, innovation, and integrity.
Patrick Burns
CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Patrick Burns brings over three decades of construction leadership, with a career spanning commercial, retail, and residential sectors across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Known for his precision, clear communication, and hands-on leadership, Patrick has managed projects from early preconstruction planning through final turnover — consistently meeting demanding schedules, budget requirements, and quality standards.
At BKG Construction Group, Patrick oversees all field operations, including site supervision, subcontractor management, procurement coordination, safety enforcement, and quality control. His ability to anticipate challenges, resolve issues in real time, and maintain alignment among architects, engineers, trade partners, and clients ensures that each project is built to exacting standards.
Patrick’s portfolio includes complex retail redevelopments, large-scale multi-family communities, and luxury custom residences. He has managed more than a dozen Nordstrom store build-outs and remodels across multiple states, leading fast-track schedules and high-end finish requirements. His work with T-Mobile delivered both branded retail spaces and modern corporate offices, reinforcing his ability to execute brand-driven projects. Patrick also directed large-scale residential developments such as the 300+ unit Alexan Central Park community in Redmond, WA, and the Park 88 Apartments in Kirkland, WA, both featuring luxury amenities and structured parking. His experience further extends to custom waterfront residences, where complex site conditions and luxury detailing demanded the highest level of craftsmanship.
Throughout his career, Patrick has earned a reputation as a builder who delivers on promises. His deep field expertise, commitment to problem-solving, and ability to foster lasting partnerships make him a trusted leader for developers, owners, and design teams alike.
